Casey Erin About Me-3.jpg

A little about me.

Though I was born and raised in the small and casual town of Penn Laird, Virginia, you might find me anywhere from enjoying a campfire by the lake or touring the streets of NYC. I fell in love with traveling all around the state with the hopes to one day travel more both in and outside of the USA. I’m currently in Harrisonburg, VA. I’m a lover, a friend, a daughter, a sister, a Christian, and definitely a bit of a foodie. Favorite food: Vietnamese Pho, Sushi, or mostly any form of Asian, Mexican, or Italian cuisine. My drink of choice? A Moscow Mule or maybe just give me an Old Fashioned on the rocks! I love to explore the downtown regions of mostly any city with my husband, Mike, and we almost always find the very best mom and pop shops! We love to explore together so much that we actually do not buy each other Christmas gifts, we just book a one or two night stay somewhere in the city and enjoy various Christmas-towns instead. By the way, my advice for couples will always be to marry your best friend. On my days off you might find us hanging out with our daughter, Audrey, at a farmers’ market or out exploring!

My Shooting Style

I am in love with love. Love can mean many things, so allow me to elaborate. During my sessions, I focus solely on connection. Connection with myself and my clients as well as parents to their children, grooms to their bride, children to ME, and a lover to their significant other. I often use YOU as a prop, engaging people with people and producing smiles naturally. You see, a photo sparks a memory. Creating the memory is at the forefront of my sessions. I want my clients to look through their gallery and feel the FULL story of their love. I want folks to relive that experience over and over and laugh or even cry when they come across that one special photo. For this reason, I have had the pleasure of calling several of my clients friends and often gain the experience of photographing the same family several times for years and years. THANK YOU to those who have entrusted me with this. Its a big job!
