I graduated from EMU with a bachelors degree in Photography. Since 2009, I’ve photographed hundreds of weddings and thousands of photo sessions. I have had the great joy of being published with The Knot, Capitol Romance, Borrowed and Blue, and a few local photography blogs. My photography career has taken me to California, DC, New York City, North and South Carolina, and Florida AND I hope to travel so much more! Along with some of Virginia’s most luxurious wineries, I have had the privilege of shooting weddings at premier wedding venues across the state. I can’t wait to see what’s yet to come!
Full Photo Sessions // Visual Storytelling
Full photo-sessions are designed for those who want to invest in visual storytelling. I put great care into capturing a few picture-perfect posed and professional portraits and then we switch it up and I focus on all the candid and sort of “unplanned” moments and I even try to include some of the beautiful surroundings too for a bit of atmosphere. We shoot for up to 2 hours and you get to keep all of your lovely fully edited images with a print release provided. For evening sessions - purposefully planned during the best outdoor lighting i.e. golden hour - we shoot until we run out of light; or maybe we keep going who knows! I’ve been known to do a night shoot or two. My goal is to create several memorable moments for you so we laugh, we dance around, and we do whatever is necessary to make these photos engaging, relational, and memorable for you and your family.
Some of my favorite ideas: Hiking themed photo session (lets go find a waterfall), ice cream date themed photo session, light graffiti photo session, coffee date photo session, strawberry or pumpkin patch session, greenhouse sessions, or maybe even get messy and dare I say involve some paint?

I can help you make the tough decisions or simply give you a few suggestions. I’ve been through this a time or two now. Plus, I’m in the middle of planning my OWN wedding so I’d be happy to share what I’ve learned and how we can make this a breeze for you and your fiancé.
