Spring Light On The Farm: A Beginner’s Photography Natural Light Workshop

This spring, I’m excited to invite you to Spring Light On The Farm: A Natural Light Photography Workshop, happening May 16–17, 2026. Designed with beginners in mind, this hands-on workshop is all about slowing down, learning your camera with confidence, and creating beautiful images using natural light. We’ll cover the essentials such as: shooting in manual mode, understanding light, and the basics of composition all while leaving plenty of room for your questions along the way. Set on a working farm, you’ll have unique opportunities to photograph and interact with charming farm animals, including Highland mini cows, bunnies, ducks, chickens, pigs, and more. Lunch is provided, so you can relax and focus on learning. To wrap up the experience, you’ll shadow me during a real family session, then step into my role by photographing the same model family yourself; an invaluable chance to put everything you’ve learned into practice in a supportive, real-world setting.
