Light Graffiti At The Beach

Light graffiti is one of my favorite artforms. Unfortunately, I rarely get to do it! It takes a lot of time and a bit of trial and error. But it is SOO fun to look at the results! I felt these deserved their own post.

Light graffiti uses a photographic art form known as long exposure photography. The artist takes a handhold light source and can either point it at the camera to “draw” in the air OR the subject can point it at another subject or themselves to illuminate themselves in the photograph.
